The Washington Extravaganza

Spanning three days across multiple New York City venues, this invitation-only celebration for 250 guests was designed as a deeply personal tribute to the Washington family. As the centerpiece of the weekend, we conceived and produced an original Broadway-style musical following an eight-month creative development process.

Rather than presenting traditional entertainment, we created an immersive theatrical experience inspired entirely by the family’s history, values, and legacy. Every scene, song, and performance was developed exclusively for this celebration, transforming one evening into an unforgettable theatrical production.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

Every extraordinary production begins with a story.

Before a single page was written, we spent many hours with Mrs. Washington exploring her family’s history and legacy. Those conversations became the creative foundation for an original theatrical production that celebrated not only the family’s achievements, but the journey that shaped them.

Orion assembled and led an A-list Broadway creative team—including a director, choreographer, book writer, scriptwriters, scenic designers, projection designers, music directors, and Broadway performers—to bring that story to life. Over eight months, every creative element was developed specifically for the family, resulting in a one-of-a-kind immersive musical experience that became the defining moment of the celebration.

Throughout the broader three-day event, Orion worked in collaboration with Marc Eliot and Flourish to deliver a seamless guest experience across multiple venues, combining exceptional event production with an original theatrical presentation.
