Carousel of Hope Ball

The Carousel of Hope Ball is one of Hollywood’s most celebrated philanthropic galas, bringing together world-renowned entertainers, philanthropists, and business leaders in support of the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.

Building on a longstanding collaboration with David Foster, Marc supported the Carousel of Hope Ball’s musical entertainment for many years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marc Johnston and Erich Bergen executive produced the organization’s virtual gala, reimagining the celebrated fundraising event as a global broadcast production.

The collaboration continued through multiple live Carousel of Hope Balls at The Beverly Hilton, with Marc overseeing musical entertainment and working closely with David Foster, Clive Davis, and the event leadership on artist programming.

ORION’S ROLE

Executive Produced the Carousel of Hope virtual gala in collaboration with Erich Bergen.

Led creative development, show production, and execution of the virtual broadcast.

Created a global fundraising experience designed to preserve the scale and prestige of the annual gala during the pandemic.
