Overview
When the COVID-19 pandemic brought live performances to a standstill, Marc Johnston and Erich Bergen conceived and pitched a new approach to the New York Philharmonic’s annual fundraising gala: transform it into a global virtual broadcast bringing together extraordinary artists, cultural figures, donors, and audiences from around the world.
Working in partnership with the New York Philharmonic, Marc and Erich served as Executive Producers, bringing the concept to life as a broadcast-quality film celebrating the resilience of New York City and the enduring power of music.
We led the project from creative development through final delivery, including participant outreach, securing tributes, filming the opening segment and interviews, editorial direction, editing and post-production, and strategic guidance on fundraising and donor engagement.
